We shopped around town, went to the Greenville Children's Museum, visited the farm, went swimming, and just us girls got to go shopping at the outlets. The boys had so much fun playing together and it was interesting to see how Max changed while around them! He went from being the only one to having to hold his own around 3 other boys - it was hilarious!
We also had an impromptu "birthday party" for Max one night (he'll be 2 on Saturday). Mom and Julie came home with an ice cream cake from DQ, so we sang Happy Birthday to Max! He loved his gifts from Aunt Julie and Uncle Jay (he loves to say his name!), and Grandma and Grandpa.
Some funny things I'll remember from this visit:
- Grady screaming and/or crying when Tiger would get close to him (he did get better about this...)
- hearing the word "Mine!" a million times
- getting Zaxby's TWICE
- when Grady saw the Ankeriches' dog, Fisher, and called him a polar bear
- the huge box of pears my sis brought for us to eat
- Julie trying to get the boys to be quiet and go to bed, when we (the adults) were in the next room
Here are some pictures from the trip. I wish I would've taken more - don't we all say that? Julie took pics at the farm and will be passing them on to me.
