Pre-Fourth Weekend

This past weekend was Hartwell's Annual Pre-Fourth Extravaganza and the Muckenfuss family also came for a visit. Needless to say, we had a great weekend with friends and family! I got a few pictures here and there throughout the weekend, but didn't always have my camera with me. Sometimes I don't want to lug the big thing with me when I already have 20 million (or it seems!) other things I have to carry!

On Friday morning we were invited to a pool party at Sheryl's house and had a great time! Max was a little afraid of the pool - I think their cleaner threw him off - and Adelyn tried to stay out of the sun. :) It was so nice to catch up with friends and make some new ones, too.

Friday night we went out to eat all together to La Cabana and then headed over to Shay's for dessert. No Dancin' on Depot this year for us...we had a big thunderstorm that came through!

On Saturday Max and I had a little mommy/son date, and went into town for the festival. We "booth shopped" and Max rode the train - the highlight of the date!

On Saturday night we had a nice dinner over at Shay's. All the kids had fun playing together and we enjoyed just hanging out.

Max is very into music right now and I caught him "jamming" in the basement!

On Sunday we went to church and then out to Cateechee afterward to celebrate PaPa's 95th birthday, which is tomorrow! Can you believe it? My Grandpa Mathis will also turn 95 this year. It's so amazing!

We finished the weekend off with a young adult cookout over at Sharon and Scott's house. Everyone had a great time swimming, eating, and visiting and the rain eventually left us!
