We were really blessed to have mom and dad come down for a visit the week before Thanksgiving. They had never been at that time so it was nice to do something different. I didn't take a lot of pictures while they were here - I think I was still recovering from retreat! - but we had a great time spending the week with them! The kids were still in school the beginning of the week so we stayed close to home during the day. We celebrated Mom's birthday which was on that Saturday, Nov. 14 and also celebrated mine which was on Nov. 18!

Mom made "Colorado popcorn" one of the first nights here and we watched Inside Out together!
On Wednesday after school we took the kids to see the new Charlie Brown movie in 3D in Anderson and then went out to eat at Chili's to celebrate our birthdays. The kids LOVED the movie - it was so cute! Slate was the only one that wouldn't keep his glasses on!
On Thursday morning we had Adelyn's Thanksgiving Program at her school. She did an excellent job and was probably one of the most enthusiastic singers up there! She just smiled and sang her heart out! We loved having Memommy, Grandma and Grandpa there to watch. Some of my pictures are blurry so forgive me.
