Another Doctor's Visit

It seems like we've spent a lot of time at the doctor lately...I guess we have - between Adelyn being sick a lot lately and Slate being born! This morning we went again because Slate was due for his 1 month check-up. It's hard to believe a month has passed! The doctor said he was a healthy and BIG baby - no surprises there! We are so thankful he's doing great. Here are his stats and a couple of pictures...

Weight: 12 lb, 4 oz.
Height: 22.12"
Head Circumference: 15.25"
(They forgot to give me the percentiles...but I know he was in the 96% for weight, ha!)


Thought I'd compare with M & A-
Max (at 1 mth): 10 lb, 12 oz. and 22 9/16"
Addie (at 1 mth): 10 lb, 12 oz. (91%), was 21 1/4" (55%), and her head was 15" (80%)

We also decided to get Adelyn checked again because her cough has come back pretty quickly, as well as a runny nose. The doctor looked at her left ear again (the one that has been giving her a lot of trouble) and said it wasn't draining properly. Because we have tried so many antibiotics already, he said we didn't have many options left. He recommended she do a round of shots to clear it up, so she got a shot today and we go back tomorrow and Saturday for two more! She did great getting it and couldn't wait to pick out a "present" from their box!

We are praying that things will clear up with her ear completely and she will not have to have tubes put in!

On another note, we'll also be praying for our sweet nephew Burke who is getting his tonsils out next Monday! You can do it, buddy!
