A Visit with Santa

This morning Max's preschool class was having an event called Breakfast with Santa. They invited all the families to come and eat breakfast, as well as let the kids get their pictures taken with Santa Claus. Jason and I were planning on taking all the kids and letting this be our Santa visit, but that didn't work out. Jason came down with something a couple of days ago and hasn't felt good at all! I took these two pictures two days ago when Adelyn just couldn't stand to be away from her daddy any longer. She was so cute because she wanted to take care of him so bad. :)

Thankfully, Jason woke up this morning feeling better. He's actually moving around now, talking, eating and even went to check on things at the barn. SO HAPPY to have our daddy back in the land of the living, ha ha.
Jason said he would stay home with Slate this morning, who was running a fever yesterday, and let me take Addie and Max to the school. It was SO neat to see their faces when Santa (aka Mr. Robert!!) walked in to greet all the families!

Addie was saying, "Hey Santa, hey Santa!" And Max said, "Ho, ho, ho!" for his picture...

They enjoyed eating and wanted seconds and thirds. :)

Max sat with Santa first and they talked about what he wanted for Christmas.

And then I convinced Addie to sit by him as well for a few pictures.

The kids crowded around Santa afterward and I had a hard time tearing them away from him. Max insisted that he get to see Santa's reindeer and sleigh before we left! SO sweet!

After our visit with Santa, we made another visit to Memommy and Pop's house to wish Memommy a very Happy Birthday! The kids were excited to give her their cards and "presents"!
