Parade of Lights

We loved going to the annual Christmas parade tonight in town...

The kids loved saying "Merry Christmas!", waving to everyone and collecting lots of candy! 

We enjoyed spending some time with the Ankeriches as well! 

Slate seemed to like the parade except when the loud firetrucks went by and he started crying. So sweet!

And Adelyn's comment was my favorite of the night - when I walked into the family room with a hat on, Addie got so excited and said, "Mom, are we going to go on a TRAIN ride?" Ha! Love her.

Oh, and we got our first Christmas card on Monday...

 

unfortunately, I have no idea who they are! :) It was accidentally mixed in with my order of Christmas cards from Shutterfly. Never had that happen before. :)
