Slate is 2!

So I'm 2 weeks late in posting that our little baby, Slate, is not so much a baby anymore! He turned 2 on Friday, January 30. 

Slate has changed SO much in the last several weeks. He is turning into a little boy and this mama is trying not to cry too much! He is so smart, laid back, full of smiles, talking ALL the time, and loves to play with his big brother and sister. He likes puzzles, cars, building toys and playing with all his sister's toys, especially her princess dolls! :) He even wakes up from his naps asking where Elsa and Anna are! 

He still is an amazing sleeper and takes a great nap every day after lunch. He is also a good eater and loves almost everything. He likes to do whatever Addie and Max are doing, and just enjoys playing, reading and hanging out with us each day. 

The day he turned 2 we went to the doctor for his 2 year check-up. He had to get one shot and did great - didn't even cry. He had a great appointment and Dr. Hobbs couldn't believe he knew all his letters already. So sweet! 

His stats - Height: 3 ft, 1 in., 98%

                 Weight: 35 lbs, 9.6 oz., 99%

                 Head: 19.8 in.
