We celebrated Adelyn's birthday this past Saturday and it was the perfect day to do it because my mom and dad were arriving from Michigan. Rarely do we ever have anyone from my side of the family at our kids' parties so it was so nice! Mom and dad arrived around 3:30 and we were all so happy to see them! They must've asked me a hundred times when Grandpa and Grandma were going to be there. :)
We invited family and a few friends over to celebrate with us, and enjoyed a simple cookout. Adelyn couldn't wait to wear her new birthday outfit from Aunt Molly, Uncle Matt and Vada. She loved it Mol!
After dinner we got ready to sing Happy Birthday and enjoy cake and ice cream. I ordered Addie a special cake this year because she hadn't had one for any other birthday like her big brother and her princess cake was so cute. She loved it and it tasted delicious!
