Family Reunion Time

Last weekend Jason, Max and I traveled to Michigan to see the WHOLE family for the weekend. We flew in on Thursday and my mom picked us up from the airport. Max did awesome on the flight and we were relieved! We hung out at home that night and tried to catch up on some sleep before the reunion began. On Friday we headed to Josh and Kate's in K-zoo to see their house and hang out. It's so cute - Kate does SUCH a good job decorating! We played with the kids and then drove on over to the camp where everyone was staying for the weekend. We got settled in and visited with family the whole night. Everyone was there...cousins, aunts and uncles, etc. My grandpa and grandma Mathis were coming up on Saturday for the day.

Saturday was filled with lots of game playing, visiting, playing paintball, building a fire and eating smores. We didn't have the best weather but at least it wasn't raining! On Sunday we had a little "service" and then packed up. My sister Julie and her family headed back home to get some rest (she acts like it's hard to have 4 boys...well, 5 if you count Jay, in the same room for a whole weekend!). Ha ha! Josh, Kate and the kids, mom and dad, Matt and Molly, and Jason, Max and I all went out to eat at Red Robin for Mother's Day. Very yummy. We headed back to Saginaw and Julie came over later that night with Burke. She gave Max his first haircut (pictures to come!). We flew out on Monday and were VERY tired by the time we arrived in Hartwell at 5:00. A GREAT weekend with family, that's for sure. We are truly blessed!

Here is a slideshow I made of pictures from the weekend.
