A Great Fourth

We had a great Fourth of July yesterday. Jason had to work most of the day but was able to take Max along for a little while in the morning. Max LOVES going with his daddy to the barn and as he was waiting to leave he said, "Mom, I just can't stand it that I get to go with dad!" He always cracks me up.

Addie stayed with me and helped me finish cleaning the house. She was ready to head over to Sha's pool too!

After lunch I took the kids over to Sharon and Scott's to go swimming. It was so hot that we spent a great deal of time in the pool! Max got a little more comfortable yesterday in the water. :)

Then we enjoyed hamburgers, hotdogs, a cookie cake and homemade ice cream to celebrate Savannah's b-day. So much fun!

Finally we stopped over at the new house to check out the progress. Mike, our builder, is on vacation this week but will be back on Monday. That's when the framing begins!

We are very thankful to all of the men and women who have served our country and those who are still fighting each day for our freedom! Thank you! Happy Fourth of July!

Love,
Amy
