This whole week was Red Ribbon Week at North Hart. It is an awareness campaign they do in schools every year for tobacco, drugs, alcohol and violence prevention. The kids had to wear something specific each day. On Friday, it was Favorite Book Character Day. One of Max's favorite books is a Magic Treehouse book called Haunted Castle on Hallow's Eve. So we decided to have him dress up as the character of Jack. He was pretty excited to wear it and I thought he looked great!
All the grades take turns doing a parade so everyone gets to see their costumes. They also have a Book Character Ball and dance the afternoon away. :)
Addie's Halloween party was that morning at preschool. She was very very excited and couldn't wait to be "Sheriff Callie" from Disney Junior.
They did craft rotations where they made a different craft in each classroom, trick-or-treated and then had snacks and treats. She had a wonderful time!
At night we grabbed a bite to eat at DQ and walked around the square to see all the scarecrows. Not as many as last year but they still had fun!
Love,
