Sisters

This past weekend was a special one because my older sister, Julie, came to visit with my nephew, Grady. We were so excited for them to come and couldn't wait when Friday arrived. If any of you have a sister, you know how sweet it is when you get to spend time with them and I have TWO amazing sisters!

The weekend started out great with Julie helping and spending time with Adelyn, and Max and Grady reuniting again.

We stayed at home most of the time they were here. We had beautiful weather and spent a lot of time outside. Max and Grady had a great time riding big wheels, loading wood, running around, and just exploring.

On Sunday, we decided to take the kids over to the playground at the recreation center. They had a blast!

As the weekend winded down, Grady started to feel sick. Julie was pretty sure he had an ear infection but she didn't know for sure. He just wasn't acting like himself! Then, Julie started feeling bad! It wasn't the best timing, that's for sure! By the time they left on Monday, Julie was sure she had strep throat and had made an appt. for Grady when they got back. Their trip back was pretty ROUGH with lots of crazy things that happened to them. They finally made it home that night. Julie and Grady BOTH ended up having strep throat but are already feeling better. I'm so glad! I'm hoping that Max doesn't get it!

Thanks for coming to visit Julie and Grady - we had a great time!
