Max is 4!

I can't believe that Max is 4 years old now...it seems like yesterday that we were bringing him home from the hospital!

 

And before we knew it, it was his first birthday...

and his second...

and his third!

And now it feels like he's SO big!

Max turned 4 on August 21. So we celebrated his birthday before we left with Jason's family and with my family at the beach. Two birthday parties = lots of fun! Max had a party with ShayleeJoy and Rosie who also had birthdays around the same time. SJ and Max both got new bikes and helmets, and loved practicing in the driveway. They enjoyed opening all their other gifts, singing Happy Birthday and having cupcakes with ice cream, and just hanging out with family!

So what's new with our 4 year old? He loves to be outside, work alongside his daddy, play, watch t.v., read, and bug his sister! He loves to talk and will strike up a conversation with just about anyone. He is about 43" tall and weighs around 43 lbs. He's still working on going on the potty and told me this morning that he was leaving for college! I thought to myself that he better get the potty thing down before he moves out! :>)  We love you, Max Thomas Martin!
