Last Thursday was Adelyn's surgery. The night before Jason and I decided to take the kids to get ice cream at DQ. We wanted to make sure Addie's belly was full before midnight! You would've thought we told them we were going to Disney world! :)
The next day we had to be there at 8:15 so Memommy came over to stay with the boys until they got up. We were grateful to her for watching them! Adelyn did so well at the surgery center - she enjoyed watching some t.v. in her gown and socks.
She was excited for the wagon ride and didn't know what to think when they wheeled her off. We didn't have to wait long before Dr. Salley said everything had gone well. He said that her ear was infected again so that was just confirmation for me that we had done the right thing! We got called back to recovery and Addie immediately started crying and calling out for me. I loved on her forever and then her daddy got his turn. She did great the rest of the day - didn't want to eat much and was extra fussy but that was about it. Hoping and praying that things go well from here on out!

SO glad that is all said and done! Praying her ears will feel better and she is healthy from now on!!! XO
