Today I heard Slate really start to talk - lots of jibber jabber - and also heard him say his FIRST word several times..."dada"!! They always say daddy's name first! :) It was so fun to hear him talking in his bed.
We had another FIRST today too - Slate had cereal for dinner tonight. He did great and seemed to really like it! Adelyn was a little shook up that Slate was in her seat and that she couldn't sit in my lap. :)
This past Saturday night we grabbed a bite to eat in Anderson and then stopped at Target to get a few things. We needed to get a backpack and a few new shirts for Max. Can't believe he's going to have his FIRST day of school in 2 weeks! He was so excited about his backpack - good thing I distracted him from getting the Cars one he wanted. Ha. Guess who also needed one...
